Mrs Bell organised an afternoon of activities to coincide with the ‘Time to Talk’ day. An annual event that encourages people to sit down and spend time talking with others, recognising the benefits that this activity brings to everyone’s well-being. The children had a choice of activities in the afternoon, with clay-modelling, junk-modelling and board games being used to get the children to sit down and talk to one another.
It was wonderful welcoming parents into school on Wednesday to have lunch with the children as part of our Healthy Living Week.
Thank you to the wonderful cooks at Bennett Memorial School who supply our food daily.
As we were considering the journey of the three kings and the star that appeared and they followed to the infant Jesus, Elm and Oak classes were in a mini-planetarium in the hall considering the wonder and size of the galaxy and cosmos. A great idea to support the learning in the space topic that Oak class are currently following.

Year 5 pupils in our Leading Lights group, organised and led our worship today. They performed a play, talked about a Christian message and then finished with a hymn and prayers. They did a great job, keeping us all entertained with a thought-provoking session. Well done to all the Leading Lights and Ms Peel for supporting them in the development process.
