From the welcome you receive when you step through the front door (or by browsing through our website), we hope you gain the feeling that Fordcombe C of E Primary School is a friendly, open, vibrant school. Pupils are at the heart of things at Fordcombe, which is exactly how we like it. The school is small by primary school standards and this means pupils are known to all staff and our pastoral care can be very personalised |
There are three buildings with classrooms situated in each, an Early Years classroom with direct access to an Early Years area, a large playground and an adjacent playing field which means if pupils can go outside for playtimes and lunchtimes, then they do.
We are a Church of England Primary School and have close links with the Parish Church of St Peter’s, situated a stone’s throw from the school. We visit the church as a whole school each term and welcome the Rector, Reverend Lisa Cornell, into our Acts of Worship every fortnight.
