Many thanks to Lorna Townsend who kindly brought in two lambs who the children could feed and see the wonder of the season up close. A huge hit on the playground with the children, it was lovely too to see the children from Fordcombe Nursery pop across and make a visit to our school. A good starting point for respectful relationships and how to care for others.
All the pupils in Year 4 took part in an Art Day at Ightham Primary School on Monday. A great way to get out and about, the art was all done outside in the grounds around Ightham. Thank you to the parents that transported children and to the teachers at Ightham who organised the day.
Well done to the pupils that took part in the school’s Talent Show. It was lovely to see so many different skills and talents on show, from singers to gymnasts, from Rubix Cubers to dancers. Many thanks if you attended to support your child and many thanks too, to Anthony Hughes and Sophie Dean who came back to judge the finalists.
