Members of the school choir walked across to the new village hall to sing for the elder members of the Fordcombe community on Thursday afternoon. Your children are lights for other locally—this being another example of us living our vision.
Many thanks to those that organised and helped at the recent Christmas Fayre. It is such a special afternoon, one that your children will remember when they have their own children.
Well done to the fourteen members of our school orchestra for playing at the fayre.
A spot of bad weather does not stop the Fordcombe School Cross Country Club!
For the first time since Covid hit us, pupils from local schools have started playing in the netball and football leagues. A netball team from Fordcombe travelled to Penshurst on Monday, narrowly losing 4-3 to our local competitors. Well done for the sporting endeavour from all. Further matches, and a match report from our netball captain, Holly, will follow. The football match was called off due to a water-logged pitch. This will be re-arranged.
Amazing!
