Thanks to a donation from the Fordcombe Fete committee, the school was able to purchase new resources to support the teaching of Geography and History. Many thanks to all that attended or spent money at the fete—the new books both look and feel the part, giving the humanities real value at school.

Seven pupils from Elm class played basketball against other schools from Sevenoaks area on Monday. A great event with some impressive skills on show. Well done to those that took part for coming second in their pool.
All had a great time and learnt new skills in a new competition. We won some, drew some and lost some but all progressed with our hockey skills.

Oak class are currently learning about the Mayans and chocolate is something that tied in very nicely with this topic, so pupils went to find out a little more.
