A very tired Oak class come to the end of a wonderful week .
A brilliant couple of days...
A fantastic Tuesday at Carroty Wood... we've been kept busy with some exciting, challenging and muddy activities. We've had to persevere, respect, forgive and hope to complete everything, but we've shown our Fordcombe values in abundance.
Seventeen pupils from the choir, led by Mrs Hughes and Mrs Evans kicked off the village festival on the cricket pitch on Saturday. Well done to all those that took part. The singing, as ever, was absolutely fantastic.
Year 6 pupils were put through their paces last week with the team from Kent County Council. Starting on the playground, pupils got to grips with basic signaling and maneuver, before going out on the roads to earn their Level 1 and Level 2 Cycling Proficiency badges. Well done to all.
