The whole school took part in a science-themed day today, the centre-piece of which was a forensic workshop which involved pupils needing to eliminate suspects from a crime using deduction and forensic science techniques.
In other parts of the day, pupils learnt about the science of fingerprints and how these can be used to identify individuals. The final part of the day involved pupils making potions and goo using a selection of materials - messy, fun but all focused on scientific learning.
Well done to all those that came to school dressed as a scientist. Thanks to those parents that came in to support the day. Lastly, many thanks to the Parents' Guild that provided the funds for this great event to take place.
