Twenty pupils from Fordcombe took part in the final of three cross-country races at Mascall’s Secondary School in Paddock Wood. It was great to see the pupils progressing over the three races, getting used to the distance and persevering through o the end. Well done to the Year 4, 5 and 6 girls’ team who got better each time and won the team competition in the final race.
Many thanks to the parents that run the cross-country club each Friday morning: all the pupils involved have gained a great deal from the training and the racing. Thanks must also go the Parents’ Guild who donated funds to buy the great running T-shirts modelled above.
