Visitor to Ash Class

Ash class pupils had a visit from Joan from the Folly Wildlife Centre on Friday afternoon. She came to explain a little about the animal rescue centre and brought in a very special guest, a rescued hedgehog that, although reluctant at first, eventually uncurled and had a sniff around the classroom. The pupils had lots of questions and gained lots of answers: apparently hedgehogs have over 6,000 spines.
