Visit from a French School

Seventeen French pupils visited us on Thursday as part of their school journey to the UK. After our guests arrived, they were plunged straight into the English education system with an Act of Worship (something that doesn’t happen in French schools), then on into lessons in order to work with the pupils in Elm and Oak. The day was a great success: a wonderful opportunity for Fordcombe pupils to meet some new people from a different background, as well as practise their French language skills.

Many thanks to Mrs Treutenaere for organising what was a very successful day, both for the pupils at Fordcombe and the pupils from Ecole Publique de Chinaillon.
