As part of their work on the characters of the class novel 'Skellig' and to develop an understanding of the role and impact of democracy upon British society, Oak class held a class debate.
The precept to be discussed was that 'Children should be educated at home and only learn about what excites them'.
As you can imagine, feelings were running high, however all the speakers maintained excellent behaviour and the debate went very well.
The final vote was taken, and the "no's" received the majority of the votes.
Here are some photos of the debate, with Mrs Broad as chairperson.
