Seeds and trees in Beech

Pupils in Beech class took part in a workshop on seeds, plants and trees on Monday morning when a biological expert came in to school to talk through some of the processes that make the world so green. From the largest seed in the world (the Coco de Mer) and also at £5,000 per specimen, possibly the most expensive, to much more everyday seeds and plants, pupils worked around a carousel of specimens and activities. A great start to the week. Many thanks to Mrs Philpott for coming in to support learning on plants and seeds.
