Remembrance Day

The whole school marked Remembrance Day by standing out on the village green and observing two minutes silence with parents and other local people. Elm class have been learning about World War One over the last term and it was great to see the knowledge that they have accrued about this subject in this time. Pupils also baked ANZAC biscuits last week to add to the collection by the Royal British Legion. Many thanks to all those parents that have donated to this cause: it was good to see so many poppies being worn around school.
