Oak Class Visit Bough Beech Reservoir

After a visit by representatives from Sutton and East Surrey Water, pupils got the opportunity to see where the water we use each day is collected, stored and how it gets to us. The whole class then disappeared to Bough Beech Water Treatment works. The pupils had a great day, one of the highlights being to walk down a tunnel that lead directly underneath the reservoir itself. A great way to round the theme of water off – pupils have learned a great deal about this precious resource and how it is managed during the term’s learning.
