Oak Class Tremendous Touchdown

To finish our term of work surrounding the Ancient Mayan civilisation and the country of Brazil, Oak class ran a 'Carnival day' for their school friends and parents.

First, the pupils planned and lead zumba classes for the other pupils and willing parents.

During lunchtime, Oak class ran a series of Mayan inspired stalls, including food tasting and face painting. This raised a total of £65 which will go to the Rainforest Alliance.

The day ended with the pupils performing their own Samba composition, ably assisted by Mrs Hughes. Many thanks to Mrs Crabb and Mrs Tranter for teaching Mexican cookery this term.
