As part of their work on Ancient Greece, Oak class pupils have been studying Ancient Greek pottery. They learned how pots were produced for a variety of uses and that the decoration upon them was a very important part of their design.
In response to this, Oak class learned how to make thumb and coil pots. Some of us extended our learning to successfully add handles and lids to our pots.
The final stage was to add our designs. We all based our designs on something that we thought represented our lives.
Can you spot a ballet dancer or musical instrument on one of our pots?
