Oak class had the opportunity to work with a real artist and sculptor from a London Art school.
Using only paper, pencils, rulers and a compass, the pupils created fantastic geometric designs. One design with 6 lines of symmetry is known as the 'creation' design. Can you work out why? A further design the pupils learned was called a 'Khatam' and had 4 lines of symmetry, static and dynamic shapes and expanding and contracting squares!
You can see some of the designs taking shape in the photographs here, but keep your eyes open for a display around school soon!
