Library Project

Anyone who has had the chance to pop up into the library over the last couple of days will have noticed that furniture has been added since the half term holiday. A call will go out for parents to help sort and order stock over the next few weeks, adding books to the library system so that the pupils will be able to read in this great space and benefit from the books in it.

Funded entirely by parental contributions from individuals and collectively from the Parents’ Guild, this is a great addition to Fordcombe and will benefit pupils currently at school, as well as those who are yet to join us.

Mrs Watling has worked tirelessly to get the library up and running: some of you will already be aware of her ‘tree’. Many thanks also to Sophie Dean who helped with the library design and furnishings.
