Kent County Cross-Country Championships

Despite temperatures and rain that can only be described as ‘character building’, nine Fordcombe pupils ran in the Kent County Cross-Country Championships on Saturday morning. Pick of the runners was Benji, who came ninth in the Year 5 boys’ race. All nine pupils acquitted themselves really well in the conditions and against the best runners in the county.

Many thanks to Ruth Burton who continues to organise the cross-country club on a Friday morning, a club that regularly sees close to twenty children participating on a Friday morning.
