Twenty-six pupils from years 4, 5 and 6 got the opportunity to take part in events involved with the triathlon on Wednesday. As the sun shone, pupils ran, swam and practiced the transitions from swim to bike and from bike to run during the morning. In the afternoon, pupils undertook an archery session and toured the castle itself, learning about links to the Tudors. We have a number of pupils taking part in the real children’s triathlon event in a couple of weeks’ time over at Hever. A number of others who enjoyed their experience, I’m sure will be involved in the future. Thank you to the five parents that volunteered their time to come and support the pupils.
