Elm Class win cricket match

Ten pupils from Year 3 and 4 took the short journey to Penshurst last Wednesday to play Kwik Cricket. After just six weeks of practice in PE lessons, it was great to see the children playing and enjoying this form of cricket where everyone gets involved equally. Many thanks to all those parents that transported children and for spending the weekend prior to the game practising bowling and batting. The game was close, but Fordcombe ended up narrow winners after a couple of stumpings cancelled out a few extra runs that Penshurst had built up.
