Elm Class visit Lullingstone Roman Villa

Elm class completed their term’s learning with a trip to Lullingstone Roman Villa on Friday. With a whole term’s worth of information to hand, the pupils delved deeper into the Roman way of life, using their knowledge to explore the remains of the villa and find out about the Roman artefacts found there. Starting and ending with a visit to see and handle roman objects, this has really caught the imaginations of the pupils in Elm class, as evidenced by the horde of Roman legionnaires that came out of school last week carrying their Roman shields. Thanks to Mrs Hood, Mrs Pearce and the parent helpers for a successful school trip.
