Elm class trip to the Bluebell Railway

Pupils were dressed to be evacuated on Friday as pupils in Elm class, flat caps very much to the fore, boarded the train with their suitcases and gas mask carriers. A great time was had by all as the pupils got the chance to imagine what life would have been like for those thousands of children transported from the centre of London during the Blitz. Many thanks to all those parents that supported the trip and ferried pupils back and forth to the railway.
