Christmas Service at St. Peter’s

Pupils from Years 5 and 6 once again did the school proud by organising the end of term service at St. Peter’s today. Six pupils chose a series of readings, prayers, hymns and carols and then created an order of service which tied together these elements, as well as a series of performances by soloists, musical ensembles and the choir to complete the Christmas service.

Many thanks to Mrs Hughes for all the support she has given the musicians this term, as well as the team of peripatetic teachers that she leads and who has supported pupils from years one through six since the summer term.

Well done to those pupils who organised the service, as well as those who contributed by reading a Bible passage or prayer. Everyone at Fordcombe wishes all connected to the school a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
