Christmas Plays

I hope you all enjoyed the plays last week. The pupils put so much hard work and effort into the performances, and each year, step-up to and act, sing and dance their hearts out and really enjoy themselves. An Ash class and Beech class performance that had the required amount of tinsel and sparkle (if you’re five or six years old, the perfect amount of tinsel is as much tinsel as you can get your hands on) and a lively, rollicking rendition of songs about stars, angels, shepherds, inn keepers and of course the baby Jesus. The Elm and Oak class performance kicked off with the Emperor Caesar and finished with a busker outside a stable in Bethlehem asking everyone to join in the Christmas story. We had everything a proper nativity should include! A special mention must go to the solo singers some of whom were soloing for the first time and to all the teachers and support staff that put so much effort in so that you can watch the finished article. A- maz- ing.
