The pupils had a great time at Carroty Wood climbing, abseiling, getting wet and getting muddy. The activities were varied and at times challenging – but all the pupils learnt something. The activities are great fun – ask each child and they will have a different highpoint – but more importantly, the pupils get the chance to spend time with the group, share duties and chores, share free time, and make decisions for themselves. The Year 5 and 6 group is a great group of pupils, polite and well-mannered, a real joy to take away on a trip like this. Pupils returned to school dirty, tired but having had a very fulfilling week.
