Isabelle (Year 5) took part in the final of the local schools’ Bake-Off’ competition on Thursday morning. She had three hours to create a celebration cake and was competing against three other finalists from local schools. No help was allowed during the three hours in which Isabelle created her own meringues, triple tiered cake and icing. Judged by local celebrity chef Rosemary Schrager, the feedback about Isabelle’s cake was all positive; the winning chocolate cake just getting the nod from the judges. Well done to Isabelle and all those that took part in the original bake-off at school.
