Ash Class visit Drusillas

Our first school trip this year was to Drusillas Park. The children were very excited to be going on a coach. When we arrived at Drusillas we were able to look at some of the animals before we went off to meet James, our penguin expert. He told us all about penguins and was able to answer all of our questions! The children then got to stroke a snake and a chinchilla. We then went to watch the penguins have their lunch before heading to the warmth of the café for ours. Ash Class had some time on the adventure playground before we all boarded the park's train which took us around the animals. The children were superstars and so well behaved. Many people commented on both this and also how polite they were! Well done everyone and a big thank you to our fabulous parent helpers!
