Ash Class visit Drusillas Zoo

Ash Class had a super day at Drusillas on Friday. On arrival at the zoo we went straight to the education centre to learn more about penguins. Joel was dressed in all the equipment he would need to be a penguin living in the Antarctic! We learnt about the different breeds of penguins, where they lived and how they were suited to these habitats. We were also able to stroke a snake and a meerkat. We then went to watch the penguins have their lunch before meeting Beech Class to have our lunch. All the children showed super learning behaviour throughout the trip. A big thank you to the parent helpers who accompanied us! For more photos please see our class page for the full album.
