Ash Class Trip to Hastings

On Thursday 16th July a very excited Ash Class met at Tunbridge Wells train station to set off on our school trip to Hastings.
The children had great fun getting on the train together and enjoyed the views and going into tunnels!

On arriving at Hastings we set off to catch a bus down to the Blue Reef Aquarium.

When arriving at the Aquarium the children were wowed by the many types of fish and sea creatures we saw.

They were able to apply some of their learning  to identify some of the different species of fish.

We walked through the glass tunnel and watched the fish swim above us. We then sat in front of the giant tank and the children drew some of their favourite creatures.

After a busy morning we headed to the beach to eat our picnic lunches, followed by ice-creams!

We went for a walk along the beach and we were lucky enough to see a fishing boat being pulled into shore.

Before returning home we had just enough time to look around the Fisherman's Museum. The children had super learning behaviour all day and a gentleman on the bus back to the train station complemented on how good the children were.

We returned to Tunbridge Wells on the train where we were greeted by all the Mummies and Daddies after our brilliant day out.
