Dear parents/carers,
We appreciate that juggling homeschooling, working and finding a healthy balance in this unprecedented time is not easy and so it is not our intention to overload you with obligatory tasks that require mass printing or parental input. To this end, each class teacher will upload a week of activities for you to do at your leisure if you want to. The activities will be on one Word document and include a selection of Maths, Literacy, RE, Science, Music and Topic tasks. These are just for guidance. There is no pressure from us for you to complete every single one. We will be uploading these sheets to both the school website and Class Dojo.
Class Dojo is a fantastic app to keep in contact with you all during school closures. Dojo also offers the option to upload photographs, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and videos of what your children have been up to. These are only seen by the class teacher. We may even upload little videos of ourselves reading to you or fun creative activities to do when you are at home in addition to the learning grid.
If parents have any issues with their child's learning, they should message their child's class teacher via the messaging section of the Class DoJo app.
Stay safe, stay active and wash your hands.
