Our Local Community

Located just outside the famous town of Tunbridge Wells, Fordcombe is an attractive rural village set in the heart of Kent, in southern England. Fordcombe is a happy, active and friendly village in the beautiful Weald of Kent and its organisations revolve around the Church, the School, the Chafford Arms Pub and the Village Hall.

Fordcombe CE Primary School is proud to be a central part of this lovely community, collaborating in community and fundraising activities such as the Annual Village Fete, Farmers Market, Village Play Area, Quiz Nights, Christmas Fair and Summer Garden Party.

The children are closely linked to the Fordcombe pre-school; involved with the Fordcombe Branch of the Royal British Legion through collecting for Poppies with a Remembrance Service held outside the school, and also visit the local Care Home and Luncheon Club for the over 60s, performing songs they have learnt in the School Choir for the entertainment of residents.
