Mosque Visit

During this term in Oak class, we have been learning all about the religion of Islam as part of our 'Arabian Nights' topic. On Wednesday morning, the children had the chance to visit the Masjid Al-Noor mosque in Tunbridge Wells, followed by a delicious lunch of Arabic mezze food at nearby restaurant Hattusa. At the mosque, the children had the opportunity to ask lots of questions, discuss the five pillars of Islam and hear a traditional call to prayer. Everyone will agree that the food that followed was absolutely delicious and we left with very full tummies!
