Forest School News

This week started with a slightly sombre mood at Forest School. Unfortunately a mouse had become trapped in the shed and had died over the holidays. The children decided to bury the mouse and then made some crosses. They also said prayers for the mouse, an idea they had themselves.

After this we swept the leaves and added them to the compost bin to help make some compost for when we start to grow plants. The children also had some free play time and were able to independently choose and use the area for their own learning activities.
