Elm Class has a visit from Tunbridge Wells Museum - Romans

Elm class were lucky enough to be visited by Jeremy from the Tunbridge Wells Museum today. Jeremy is an expert on the Roman times and shared lots of information about the Romans and how they lived. Jeremy brought in numerous artefacts from the Roman times for us to look at- we had to be very careful not to drop any as they are all about 2000 years old! One of the highlights was being told the very animated story of Romulus and Remus and how Rome got its name... we were all left wondering if it is really true.
