Last Friday, Ash Class enjoyed an action-packed trip to Bore Place farm in Chiddingstone. As part of their 'minibeast' topic this term, they were on the hunt for little critters!
The day started with pond dipping and the children did fantastically well finding dragonfly larvae, newts and pond snails to name just a few. They then moved over to the Forest School area and collected as many minbeasts as they could find in scientific viewing pots. There were lots of worms, slugs, grubs and even a baby newt!
They ended the day with a tour of the farm. The milking parlour was very exciting and seeing the baby cows topped off a fantastic day!
